AMTA Requirements

The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) requires professional active members to complete 48 hours of continuing education every four (4) years.

According to the AMTA, “Professional, continuing education is beneficial to every massage therapist and crucial to providing clients the best experience possible.  Consumers look for the AMTA member logo when choosing their therapist because AMTA members demonstrate their commitment to lifelong learning and professionalism by adhering to the CE requirement.”

Accepted courses include online instruction approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). (All Jumozy courses are NCBTMB approved.)

Course topics must be within the scope of your massage therapy practice.
